Well people can spend a good amount of money on games, and if they ban your steam account then you access none of your games. Now they're declaring that you're being licensed the games not owning them. AFAIK valve had a few class actions because of it.

Old news, it basically means they reserve the right to lock you out of access to their games/ your account, but the only way you'd lose that is if you hack or they go out of service.

I own a lot of video games. They're stored on a service called ThePirateBay.

Well that's for any type of software.
You don't actually buy the software, you buy the license or the right to use it.
If you actually 'owned' the game, that would mean that you could do what ever the fuck you want with it as in illegal stuff.

lol even if you have a physical copy you still void the warranty and break several laws if you do "illegal stuff" with/to it.
