Hacking Wave?
For the past few weeks it seems people on the East server has been hacked. Most of their items were stolen or sometimes all. I'm not sure what's going on and is this also happening to the West server?

I haven't heard anything about these hacking incidents on east... I bet they didnt have a crimson code set.

Usually target accounts are ones with +15 weapons and above lv60 with rare gear. Some people probably forget to set their crimson or change it and it could be easy to bypass (using birthday numbers for the crimson type thing).
Also I remember reading about buying NX or earning NX was getting some people hacked. So if someone hacked into the Nexon server somehow they could be getting a hold of it ?
Anyways, if I could figure out how to hack I know a couple people who'd be a nice treat to hack LOL (they annoy me

As dewdew said, crimson codes don't really work either.

Kind of doubting your friend was the victim of hacking, he/she probably got phished or gave away account info.
My friend got back from college to go check on their account to realize that they've been hacked. She's also not a type of person that would randomly give away their account info. However, the person who hacked her and took their items, didn't delete the sent mail log so she got the hacker's username.

I know guys that will mail stuff between chars with unbind pots to remove the remaining binds, therefore securing their gear.
