second one the effects would be way to bright and to contrasted imo

First has terrible contrast, really dark.
Focal doesn't blend in on the second one.

Also, in both images, his right knee (as in, HIS right) seems really dodgy. As if you cut it out using the lasso tool.

The second one is nice, but I don't think that the second one has much potential.
