Getting steam games cheaper using VPN
hello, because i live in New Zealand the prices for games are noticeably higher i.e black ops 2 pre order is 100 usd when in america its only 60 usd. i browsed the steam forums and there are a lot of topics about "i got banned for using vpn" etc. And im just wondering WHAT IF i use VPN to create a new account on steam with a fake US address, postal code etc, and then purchase black ops 2 as a gift and gift it to my main account?

my question is: what account(s) will be banned?

i know the GIFTING account will be banned BUT will my GIFTED/main account be banned?

I think you would most likely be banned for using VPN
or...
just to be safe try to make 2 steam accounts, Use VPN and buy a cheap game for example Shank 2 as a GIFT then send it to the second one and make it TRADEBLE !
now leave those 2 accounts and wait for some time and check if you got banned or not

now valve is smart so dont try it (i may work for the GIFTED account only if the gifted account "seems" legit) but the gifting account will definitely be banned.

btw both of the accounts i used are banned

Soo... you're saying that if the GIFTED account is LEGIT it wouldn't be banned

Legit as in a player since 2011 and played some games /boh
