Is there a way...
Is there a way to like download an installed version of blackops online and just put it on my usb...?
My disc doesn't work anymore and I know it would if I could have the installed version of it on my xbox...

As far as I know, you can't transfer game installations via USB. Every installation gives that console a specific license to boot from it.
You could borrow a friend's copy, install it, and use your damaged one to launch it.

this is the best way to do it i had this same problem i borrowed my friend black ops saved it and just launched with m damaged disk and i have no had a problem since.

I do say this is one of the advantages of an Xbox360, if you tried to do this on PS3 your hard drive would be filled in no time at all!

In all seriousness though, I have always thought about getting an Xbox but with the current generation at it's end I'm just waiting it out now.

No its not possible to Download a game to a USB and play on Xbox live. Only way is if you had a JTAG or RGH.
