3. Client File Corruption Detect, Closing Game Client :
Cause: CF client corrupted.
Step 1: Scan PC for viruses.
Step 2: Uninstall/Delete corrupted client (Crossfire Folder)
Default Destination:
For Win 7/XP (32bit)
C:\Program Files\GameClub\Philippines\CrossFire
For Win 7/XP (64bit)
C:\Program Files (x86)\GameClub\Philippines\CrossFire
Step 3: Download our latest and updated version client [Download Here]
Step 4: Please make sure to disable any security programs like anti-virus/firewall to avoid conflict during installation of the client.
Step 5: After installing the client please ensure to include your CF folder to your anti-virus/firewall to avoid false positive detection.
Step 6: Run CFlauncher.
Cause: Repetition of patching or patch update failed.
Step 1: Download and install our latest and patch update in our CF Website
you can download the Manual and Comulative patch in the site.
Step 2: Please make sure to turn off your anti-virus/firewall before patching the file.
6.Failed to Initialize Anti-hacking Module W[2018] L[0] or Aegis Init Error :
Cause: Conflict between CF client and Anti-virus
Step 1: Please ensure to include CF folder to any security programs installed in your PC.
Step 2: Check for any third party program that may cause corrupted client.
Step 3: Please make sure to check the file version of your CF client.
Latest Version = 1061
a. Open your CF folder and locate for version.ini file (right click "Open") .
Cause: False Detection of your antivirus programs.
Step 1: Disable the antivirus program.
Step 2: Download patcher_cf2.exe Click Here
Step 3: Paste it on your crossfire folder.
Step 4: Run as administrator the "patcher_cf2.exe".
Step 5: Configure your antivirus settings. Add CF folder in your antivirus exceptions or exclusions list.
Step 6: Enable your antivirus program.
Step 7: Run CFLauncher.
Cause: Crossfire.exe or version.ini is outdated
Step 1: Please make sure to check the file version of your CF client.
Latest Version = 1061
Steps on how to change the version file
a. Open your CF folder and locate for version.ini file (right click "Open") .
If error still occurred kindly download the updated crossfire.exe files.
Step 1: Turn off your anti-virus program.
Step 2: Download the crossfire.exe
Step 3: Paste the crossfire.exe in your CF folder.
Step 4: Configure your anti-virus, CF folder must be in the exclusion/exception list.
Step 5: Turn on your anti-virus program.
Step 6: Run CFLauncher.
Cause: Third Party Program inside the CF folder.
Step 1: Go to CF folder then locate and delete the "SndDrv.dll" (10kb), "SndDrv2.dll" (76kb) and "mlang.dll" (188kb) file.
Step 2: Run CFLauncher again.
