Truths and myths about dupping

After dupping TEN TIMES WHITOUT A FAIL (100%) i come here with truths and myths about dupping. Be sure to listen.

1- You need to do EXACTLY what the guide says.

False. All you need is one screen at vault and other screen trying to get at vault. There are like 500 ways to get this, so, if you fail at one of the steps, you can "adapt" it.

2- The less the items the higher the sucess rate

False. Items have NOTHING TO DO with dupping. I actually got a higher sucess rate dupping 8 ammys than dupping one doom bow.

3- You need to release the last item and instantly close the window

False. You can just release the item and wait 5 hours, it will still work. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS CLOSE THE SCREEN AT THE CORRECT TIME. I tested with it. I released all the items at my inventory and waited TWO HOURS. It still worked.

4- Dupping may delete your items

False. Dupping WRONG may delete your items. If you are dupping with the nexus method IT WILL DELETE YOUR ITEMS IF YOU FAIL. If you are dupping with the ctrl + q method, it will NEVER delete ANYTHING.

5- You need to drag the items at the same inventory slot

False. As i said, items does not affect dupping. The only thing that affects it is closing the screen at the correct time.

My sucess rates with closing the client at "Connecting..." are 10%. I kinda did it once. Them i never managed to do it again.
My sucess rates with closing the client between "Connecting..." and "Connected!" are 30%. Most of times it fails, but it works sometimes.
My sucess rates with closing the client before "Connecting..." are 0%. It dosent works. Dont try it.
My sucess rates with closing the client at "Connected!" are 100%. Try it. It really works.

Warning: Closing at "Connected!" means REALLY, WHEN YOU SEE THE MESSAGE "CONNECTED!". Dont try to close it at "Connecting!". You need to see WITH YOUR EYES the message "Connected!". Them pressing ctrl + q.

I will soon make a full video tutorial with all the tricks and things. While i dont do it, you can follow this tutorial:

1- Open two ROTMG With Connection clients. You can find lots of those clients here at the forum

2- Get one at vault and one waiting to get at vault. If you know how to do that, skip to step 3. If you dont, keep reading.

2a. First login with the first and second client. First should be in nexus. Second should be waiting to get into nexus.

2b. Join the vault when you see the first "Connecting...." blue message. The idea is that : WHen it says "Connected!" it stabilishs a connection with the server for one second. If you join the vault, you will unconnect for some time, and during this time, the second client have the chance to connect. Means perfect timing.



2c. With the second client, join the vault. It dosent matter when.



3- With the client in vault, drag the items you want to dupe at the inventory. There are no rules. You can drag anything everywhere when you want.



4- Close the client when it says "Connected!". You can do that whenever you want. No matter what you dragged.



5- If sucessfull, congratulations. If unsucessfull, be sure you closed the client when it said "Connected!", AND NOT BEFORE. If you really did that, try again, dupping is also 10% about luck.



I grant you: In less than 3 trys, you WILL MANAGE TO DUPE if you are doing it RIGHT.

REMEMBER: You can dupe ANYTHING. I just dupped 2 drake eggs, 4 wine cellar keys and 2 cloth dye. You can get so many advantages by doing that. Good luck.

REMEMBER²: Dont make drop partys with dupped stuff. This kinda breaks the game economy. You can give stuff to people you like, but dont give stuff to people you dont even know.

REMEMBER³: NEVER say in nexus you can dupe. NEVER record a video with you dupping if the video shows your true nickname.

4- Dupping may delete your items

False. Dupping WRONG may delete your items. If you are dupping with the nexus method IT WILL DELETE YOUR ITEMS IF YOU FAIL. If you are dupping with the ctrl + q method, it will NEVER delete ANYTHING.

Actually you can delete your items. If you put your items into the chest and than complete a successful dupe. You will have nothing in your inventory and nothing in your vault because it successfully duped an empty chest. Essentially, destroying your items is successfully duping an empty chest.

(You have to be doing the dupe wrong for it to happen, but it happens.)
