[Solved] CF Patcher not working

CF Patcher not working

Simply put, As soon as i hit that start button on my crossfire launcher it brings up the patcher and it closes the second after.
I tried serval fixes such as running as admin and directly running the patcher_cf file. I've even tried to use CCleaner and even included a exclusion antivirus path for my bitdefender. This game does work and i used to play this alot back then! I have tried reinstalling but never actually deleted all installion files including the compressed file that is used to install the game(A.K.A the setup file). I will try this now as i wait for replies on this post. Please help?

EDIT:I just completely reinstalled all files including setup and it doesn't solve the problem.

I never really liked BitDefender. Causes issues.

Try DISABLING IT entirely.

Sounds like a great idea but i have no idea how to disable it :P

EDIT:I manually disabled stuff that was on but not sure if that completely disables, doesn't stop the problem with manual disable.How do you completely disable?

I'm not quite sure lol.

Anyways this was C+P'ed off BitDefender's forum

In order to temporary disable the protection, please open the main interface using your desktop icon.

Now click on Settings and go to the antivirus menu on the left side.

Select the Shield tab from the right side and disable On access Scanning. Select the period and click OK.

In order to turn it back on, just undo these steps.

Uninstall BitDefender.

Just uninstalled BitDefender and installed AVG 2013 and it still doesn't work. Same case scenario. I will be attempting to upload a video.

EDIT:Nvm, for whatever so reason cannot record. Tried using Dxtory and FRAPS but the record wont start.
Just image me pressing the Start button, then the Patcher popping up and staying on the screen for a 1-3seconds and then just going away as if the game is starting.

Tried all the backup files still don't work and still the same problem. What could the cause of this be?
