Client File Corruption Detected Closing Client

Hello MPGH.

My laptop became slow so i reinstalled Windows 7 and now its alot faster but now i installed CF again and if i want to play it it says client file corruption detected closing client ? Please help ?

Clean your WinRegistry and reinstall the latest client

Sorry but where can i find Winregistry ?

It's your Windows Registry just search for "CCleaner" on google and clean your WinReg

I cleaned with CCleaner and i also reinstalled CF few times and also restarted my pc and its still not working

What is the error that you get ?
If client corruption thing , Reinstall.(download latest client)

Try looking at past threads and see if you can find a solution.

I reinstalled again but now its even worse when i start Crossfire with the icon on my desktop it doesn't even open the patcher now i need to go to the z8games folder and click on patcher.cf

And the errors are when i reinstall CF and open the patcher for the first time it says Failed to download patch and than i open the patcher again and than it says Client File Corruption Detected. Closing Game Client.

Its so weird i played CF since 2010 and there were no problems

Yes but i didn't really saw a solution

i really want to play CF.

How 'bout disable antivir and reinstall again?

Well i didn't had a Antivirus when i first installed Crossfire again and i also get the error.

Reisntall this might take 1-2 try , also if you got a Anti-Virus NOW (danielpaap)
Remove the wepprotection for the download/installation

I already tried reinstalling and turning of my antivirus but i give it a try

You need to redownload the client.
