Now for my own comments. I think that Amanda Todd caused that to herself by flashing. If he she hasn't flashed or thought bout the consequences, she would've been alive right now (Maybe). She started the whole thing by following her friends' advice. Later on, she was threatened by posting her bo*bs pictures in public. Eventhough this was a serious thing, she ignored it. If she simply told the police, they could've done something. But she ignored it. The problem kept on expanding until it became very well-known. I do understand that she was depressed but that doesn't give her the right to simply go and commit suicide. My life is extremely worse than hers. I am a 16 year old fat and black. I recently live in the Arab world. I can't see/date girls where I live, I am too ugly somehow to actually be considered...

I am 16 years old just like her.My grandfather passed away long time ago and I haven't seen the other,my grandmother passed away last year, my parent's treat me in a very bad way. I have a hard way of life. I am being discriminated where I live. So should I commit suicide?
I think the answer is HELL NO!! No matter how despaired you are, look at people with worse conditions. You will thank your God for your life. So whatever and how ever Amanda was going through, she had a better life than me.

First world problems.

There are kids in this world that have to fight to survive, that have the fortitude and will not to give up.
Imagine what children in Syria have to deal with, or kids that are being kidnapped and sold off to scumbags as sex slaves.
Imagine how it feels to wonder if you have to go another 3 or 4 days without food.
This individual didn't know what suffering was.

Well that explains and enhances my point that Amanda todd did the wrong thing.

Well she caused it herself after all, but still that isnt a reason to commit suicide... Far worse things can happen.
I was bullied all over middle-school and first 3 years of high-school. Cus i'm ugly, i dont dare to do anything wrong. I was the underdog.
But then i moved school and from the start, i made it obvious that that wouldnt happen again. I Stood up for myself. Things were better. People didnt consider me trash anymore. And then i started living a second online life ... (i guess thats how i should call it.) I discovered MPGH, videogames, and a world where no1 has to see your face. Then the magical thing happened. I started coding hacks, people started appreciating my work, supporting me... This got me back up on my feet and i now live life to it's fullest(both online and offline). The lesson i learned ? That you shouldnt give up , you can always hope for better times
