Oh i only have visual studio express and i actually do know what im doing cuz ive been coding c++ for years but nvr touched just visual
You've been coding for years and you don't realize that the problem is that you simply don't have ATL or you haven't configured the right paths for the compiler to look up header files (hence, why the compiler cannot find the header)? Highly unlikely...
Ive nvr used Visual Studio. if you can help me configure it that would be nice
Your main problem is that atlstr.h is missing from your project. The tekno source has a ****load of warnings but what stops it from compiling is this missing file.

You know that just doesn't stick. If you've never used an environment as user-friendly as VC++ you must have some experience with digging around in error messages and using hacks to make your code compile and work. Since this is not a quirk that it VC++ specific it makes even less sense. It's just a typical <file not found> error that any compiler/platform would spit at you. if you're going to ask us for help, don't try to lie to us.
