Enchantment decoder
One thing that I've always wanted to do was to know what I was enchanting my stuff with. I always end up with smite or other stupid shit. A decoder mod would be amazing to have! I hope someone makes a mod like this!

The words have nothing to do with what enchantment it is so i don't know if its possible. But if it is it would be awesome!
There is a mod for this, but it only works in singleplayer. For multiplayer you have to get the plugin. The mod is called Enchant View.
Enchantments are handled through packets, so theres no way to do this.
Yeah. There is a way to see the words tho. I forget how tho :/
I'm pretty sure the text you see is crap and doesn't affect the enchantment.

This is true. The text on the enchantment is random, and will not tell you what enchantment you would get.
I go for the highest enchantment levels I see for the first and second row. Works for me 80% of the time.
Yeah it is really just a guess. You can see the words in english if you want but that doesn't help with the enchants.
