So, what kind of setup do you guys use?
And for which GameType do you use it mostly in?

msmc and pdw-57(?) are the best weapons! 
2 attachments
hardline, ghost (lightweight if you don´t have ghost)
scavenger (toughness if you don´t have scavenger)
dexterity (maybe another perk if you play with headset)
with the perk1 or the 3 attachments wildcard
scorestreak: thunder strike, the reaper thing (don´t remember the name now), dogs/swarm
smr is also nice, but smgs are better in bo2
i have to try shotguns now
in bo2 you can play the same way on every map and gametype, at least with this class
kill confirmed is the best one to rank up!

I am changing around my classes all the time so I can't really give a specific setup, but...
I have experienced that I can't play without Toughness.
Flack Jacket is necessary in Objective based games if you don't want going for the objective to be suicide.
Type 25 and M8A1 is the best Assault rifles
PDW and MSMC is the best SMG's
Ballistica is the best Sniper

SMR with select fire ist the best assault rifle and totally overpowered ( to be honest, i just have it without select fire :P, but it kills the enemy with one or two hits ... now imagine fully automatic on this gun :O )

back to topic: the best scorestreaks if you want to rank up fast are drone, counterdrone and the new blackbird ... you will get points/xp like shit
remember, you only get 25 points for killing anyone with a pointstreakreward
If you kill someone while you have a drone online you will get + 10 points and + 10 points for every kill your team does, thats just epic
Mine is:
Easy kill, steady aim.
And doesn't jump to much when firing.
Secondary is for quick swap, in case of re-load time.
Also, nice in "small" areas, to just shoot without ADS.
It works for most GameTypes I have done so far.
NukeTown is a nice place

Flak Jacket:
I play mostly objective game (aka Domination) so I can jump in a flag without being insta killed by nades.
Fast Hands:
I always use my equipment.. a lot. Place the shock charge near the betty and you'll get a kill or two every single time.
Tac Mask:
Same reason as Flak Jacket...
None, bare hands like a man
