Like whats the point of the game? Try and survive or what? If there are zombies why not kill them or if you see a player, why not kill them. I know it's a survival game but surely trying to 'survive' would get boring after a while if there isn't any action?

It's a game, you don't have to play it if you don't want to. Your saying it like it's the only game you have. Any you shouldn't complain since developing a game is hard work and takes loads of time.

It's good fun when you have a group of friends and a free weekend. Fill up a map and start scavenging. Shit get pretty fucking intense after a couple of hours when you start venturing into cities. Still buggy as fuck though. And not very pretty.

If it weren't for all of the hackers ruining the game before even an official open Beta was released,
and the fact that the dev's are a bunch of dishonest illiterate morons, it wouldn't be a half bad game.
It's actually fun when they patch and hacks are down for a day.
Don't get me wrong I have no problems hacking in some games, it's just stupid in survival based games.
It really defeats the purpose of what is supposed to make the genre refreshing, opposed to your average run of the mill fps.

Meh, it's just a bad game overall. Could've been awesome, dont get me wrong, but the developers are only in for the money => no good.

can't fucking wait for standalone! even if it's just a optimized version of dayz i would pay full price for it

I don't have the game... I was asking what it's about and the point of it because my mate was quite keen on us two on buying it.

I guess all games get repetitive. But a game like CoD, for example, is fun to go around trolling your teamates or trying to have fun and not take the game seriously. Like KYR SP33DY

I play to kill. I honestly couldnt care less about the zombies. I think of it like a really intense deathmatch :P start new rape kids with an Enfield, benture around get an m4a1 and so on. its very intense PvP "survival" and when i die i rage quit for a good day or two.

Yeah, group of friends and it is mega fun, even to watch

you should kill zombies

there is no set goal in the game.
but finding food, water and weapons is a must
