Hi guys im new so i figured i would break in my posts with this I didnt see one on here and if there is im sure its out dated or copy and pasted Apologies if im wrong and for the misspells so here it goes XD
What is this post about?: This is everything to know about crossfire gameplay...besides bugs/hacks etc
What is crossfire?: Crossfire is a free online FPS It was released publicly on Jan. 30, 2009(united states) but had been released in korea a few years before that Crossfire was developed by SmileGate but published by Neowiz
Getting started: Obviously the first thing you have to do is make an account and download the game. Once you have started the game You have to pick a character and name it this happens automatically. Make sure you choose the name you like because there is no going back. accept the basic tut to learn the basic controls..etc.... Choose the server with the most green bars... just choose Alpha server Its the one the majority plays on/least dead
There are two different types of payment methods used to buy items on this game GP(Gamer points) and ZP...........gamer points being the free one and ZP being the one you have to spend real money on(
The Ranks and levels: There are a number of different ranks and each noch on the buttom of the rank symbols represent a level these are all the ranks that i know of sorry for the small pic
What characters do they offer?: They offer up to 10 different characters some cost ZP....there are multiple accesories you can buy to pimp them out....to many to list. and there are also different mutation characters you can purchase as well
What kind of weapons do they offer?: they have a wide assortment of guns and melee weapons aswell as throwing weapons. some of the same weapons might have advanced versions of them (for example there is the m4a1 and then there is the m4a1 crytal)
this is not a full list of the weapons there are many unique weapons not stated but this is the majority.
There is also a place called Black market in the game This is ware you gamble you buy either GP crates or Zp crates then you open them and hope you win one of the items you want that are listed inside the box....i never win T_T
What kind of game modes do they have?: They have many game modes here is a list and a discription of each one
S&D (search and destroy): Pretty much as the title states There are two sides Black list wich has to choose one of two targets. Sight A to plant the bomb or sight B. And global risks job is to guard the sights and diffuse the bomb
GM (Ghost mode: My personal favorite this game mode is like S&D black list is trying to destroy a target A or B. But Black list are invisible when stationary and semi invisible when on the move they are equipt with only melee weapons but run faster then Global risk. A Black list player also emits a loud breath wich a global risk player can hear and locate them with
ZM(Zombie Mode): Join up to 3 other players to fight zombies and other creatures to win Boxes and prizes,GP,Experience. Game play depends on the maps chosen
EL(Elimination): two opposing teams start on opposit sides of the map laid out infront of them is an assortment of weapons to choose from. They fight untill all the people of one team are dead and then restart
MT(mutation): This is Mutants vs humans in the beginning of each round 2 people transform into mutants there goal is to hit a human once to turn them into a mutant as well untill there is no humans left. Or humans win if they survive the time limit or kill all the mutants
Heromode /Heromode X: These two fit in the same categorie together. It is pretty much mutation accept there is a alpha mutant and a Hero (alpha human)......Heromode/Heromode X are two different game modes but do not differ very much
TDM (team death match): opposing teams kill each other untill one of the sides reach the kill limit or time
ffa (free for all): Every body for them selves in this game mode there are no teams just (every one vs every one)
Escape Mode: One team gaurds a portal and try to stop the opposing teams players from getting to it. Each player that makes it into the portal gets 1 score for there team if they do not make a certain number of points in a specific time then they do not win the round. every new round the Teams switch postions with each other.
Misc.
Every round you play your weapon becomes more and more damaged and you must repair
Pressing B as soon as you enter a room will open up your bags for you to choose a pre weapon set
to kick people while in the game push esc then click kick you can only kick your own team members
There are bages that you can earn wich come with prizes such as GP and weapons to locate this go into storage then profile then bages
From your profile you can see your record also if you right click on some ones name you can see there personal record as well
To join a clan you must click on the clan tab on the crossfire launcher then sign in and search the clan
You can also make custom game moded such as knife elimination or only pistol death match
controls,graphics,macros, and more can be changed in the option menu that is located in the upper right corner
To add a freind right click there name and click add
to whisper type /w thername

and the release date might of been the 16th of april 2009 and not the 30th of jan 2009 for america but actually it was released in korea 2007 ware did you get 2008? from what resource are you sure its the american na release? i might be wrong prove it XD
