MOTM #32 DISCUSSION THREAD

THEME: Red mods, i.e. a mod where red is the main colour used.

YOU HAVE UNTIL THE 24TH TO GET YOUR SHIT IN.

This is so much easier when I run AND win MOTM.

The 24th is my birthday

Maybe I'll enter this time. Time to find a nice gun.

Oh man, haven't participated in a MOTM since forever. FIRST ENTRY ;D. Any constructive criticism on my mod?

The only thing I can say is the scope. I think you should have gone with something different, don't think that one really goes with it

That's just the L115A2 scope that has been desaturated.

Red mods are "Mods of the Month"? Ugh I really wish I had won now. If only I had more time left to work rather than just like 1-2 hours when I did it which was the night before I went out of state.

No offence to anyone though. It's just that these MOTM's are really getting boring and pointless repeat mods that everyone's already done before.

I'm chose an easy theme so that more people will compete, rather than something more challenging where no one will enter.

But in my opinion what's the point of even competing/entering if it's too easy? What's the point of winning? I wouldn't feel that great about myself or proud of my mod if I won a MOTM where the challenge was too easy. If it's hard or unique, that means that it would require more work and even if there'd only be 2-3 entries, the people that entered could actually be like "I finally finished it!" or something and be proud. Also, they'd be better looking mod entries which means people would respect them a bit more and they'd actually be good enough to be called the Mod Of The Month.

And this is all just my opinion too, but it seems like the competition's gone to shit because of all of the easy "challenges" to win. I think it's actually one reason why people don't enter as much as they could; they don't care to win.

The theme is simple, but winning isn't. No matter how simple or basic the theme is, you'll still have competition, and, since it's easy to enter, you'll have more people to compete against. I've won so many anyway.

Ehh Idk I just think harder challenges will be more "attractive" (for lack of better words) in the long run.
