The 2nd Amendment

"President Obama is weighing as many as 19 different gun control measures that he could take without congressional approval, as he prepares to unveil a comprehensive plan to address gun violence amid claims from Republicans that he's overstepping his bounds."the Second Amendment prohibits the federal government from “infringing” on this right of the people.

Nowadays, gun prohibitionists want to illegalize firearms unless they have a “sporting purpose.” The “sporting purpose” idea was part of the Nazi Weapons Law of 1938. JPFO has shown that the U.S. Gun Control Act of 1968 imported much of its organization, content, and phrasing, from the Nazi Weapons Law.

Taking away the firearms will not really solve any problems. The fact of the matter is. the banishment of guns will not stop crimes around the country. What do I mean? Criminals will always be able to obtain firearms if they see fit, even if it is illegal. Robbing banks and stores or anything is illegal, but people do it anyways, so what is stopping them from not breaking the new gun laws? What needs to be focused on are the mental illnesses that cause the crimes :/ I feel that things need to be dealt with, but in a more appropriate manner.

The fact of the matter stands, the Government is going to continue to find ways to suppress us, especially when it comes to weaponry.

Taking away guns won't really solve anything. You can just check the track record of many other countries with that to be sure.

Its more of the media glorifying murders and shit than anything else.

If I recall correctly Switzerland's banned guns and only has around 100 deaths per year

Switzerland also has programs that allow those with heroin addictions to get treatment in proper facilities, successfully fighting the war on drugs with drugs themselves. That by itself helps keep stability with those who are desperate for a fix enough to commit a crime. The policies as a whole in Switzerland allow the people a comfortable lifestyle with minimal funds.

On top of which Switzerland refuses to have an army. Instead, the people of Switzerland as a whole are the army. Men from the age of twenty to I believe it was thirty receive proper military training, along with weapon training. All weapons used are kept at home of the man's place of residence. The only major opposition to this was an attempt on a gun ban in the residence in 2011 which had been rejected. The majority of these weapons are military grade fully automatic assault rifles. An average citizen may also buy a gun with the proper permit, however you can purchase hunting rifles in Switzerland without a permit. Only fully automatic weaponry and weapon mods are prohibited to be purchased in Switzerland.

Unless I read what he is trying to push into law, I won't comment on this.... but I'm pretty sure the laws revolve around ARs and more control of them.
