How To Become Unbanned From DayZ/Change Your CD Key

You must first decide whether or not you want to buy a new copy (CD Key) from Steam or if you want to buy a CD Key off of the Selling, Trading, Buying Section

Things to consider when making this decision:

• Price: Buying a new copy off of Steam is considerably more than buying a CD key off of a key seller
• Quality: You could run into problems buying off of a key seller such as the key being being in-use/banned or you could even be scammed. Buying off of Steam guarantees your CD Key won't be in-use/banned and have you ever heard of Steam stealing from people?
• Origin: Key sellers get their keys buying posting videos on YouTube titled "Free YouTube Hacks". Noobs will go and download the "hack" and once ran, their cd key will be stolen (some of you may have had this happen to you). However, when you buy from Steam, a new key is generated completely out of thin air therefore you aren't buying somebody's stolen key.
  
  Changing your CD key if you want to buy a new Steam copy:
  1. Make a new Steam Account
  2. Purchase the game
  3. Go into your game library, click on "Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead", click on "Links" and click on "CD Key"
  4. Copy the CD Key
  5. Use Darky Key Changer to change your banned or bogus (if you happened to have had you CD key stolen) key
  
  *You will no longer be able to launch DayZ through the Steam account that your CD key was banned on. If you do this, your CD key will be changed back. I recommend launching with DayZ Commander (Make sure you hit "Settings" and uncheck "Launch using steam")*
  
  Changing your CD Key if you want to buy from a key seller:
  1. Purchase a CD Key from a seller (I recommend someone with vouches/that is reputable)
  2. Use Darky Key Changer to change your banned or bogus (if you happened to have had your CD key stolen) key
  
  *You will no longer be able to launch DayZ through the Steam account that your CD key was banned on. If you do this, your CD key will be changed back. I recommend launching with DayZ Commander (Make sure you hit "Settings" and uncheck "Launch using steam")*
