Not everyone is the same size in football, I'm not sure about the NFL but I've seen some of my friends play high school football and some kids are way bigger than the rest of their teammates.

Blah blah, physics laws come into play making it harder for you to go down since they're all just trying to push you back, allowing you to stay upright and go down at a much slower velocity, making your contact with the turf a whole hell of a lot softer than getting a helmet rammed into your rib cage at 20 ***.
