Gun won't fire

So whenever I get near people and fire automatic, it always stops and starts. Like, I hold the mouse but the gun won't shoot T_T. I'm assuming it's lag but is there any fix for it? Tap firing works and all its just the principle of the matter xD

So are you saying that when you hold down your mouse button, it shoots but in bursts?

If that's the case, it's your mouse problem, not CF. Change your mouse. If it's a wireless one, change the battery.

Probably just your battery since I'm assuming you have a wireless mouse..

It fires automatic when im not near any enemies, but as soon as i get within about 5-10 feet it shoots in bursts/stops firing unless I tap fire

why not just an wired normal gaming USB mouse

maybe the weapons was tired to shot ? maybe he will shoot after some days he need to rest

are you sure you ain't using aimbot or no recoil? sometimes is from both.

No hacks whatsoever. I used to be able to play normally but now I can't, same mouse and everything

. Doesn't do it on other fps games.

Just get a new mouse, and if the same thing happens, then try re-installing, but I doubt that's going to change anything.

It actually did turn out to be my mouse xD I thought about it for a bit and realized I dropped my mouse a few days ago and it must have messed up. I grabbed my backup and it worked! Thanks for the help!

If a different mouse doesn't work might be your drivers
