Blow Them Up?

Well, as much as I would love to nuke N. Korea, it wouldn't be good for the U.S., one, the radiation would hit several other countries around it, such as S. Korea, our allies, China, a major contributer to our goods, etc. Also, I agree with M3...we shouldn't destroy a whole country full of potential do-gooders, just for the insane actions of a nutty dictator. In all reality, we would be better off sending a highly skilled assassin in, one that can blend in, and he ultimately snipes the leader in the head with a .50 cal Barret Sniper Rifle from 2 miles away...way I see it, 1. the crazy dictator is dead 2. civilians are unharmed. 3. Ultimately it will bring N. Korea and S. Korea back together as one nation

I agree HBK, it seems the one of our country's republican agenda's is to bother north korea on a daily basis. I figure we just let them chose their own path, and step in when they actually do some thing.

That is just....stupid. North Korea is not breaking the United States' rules, they are breaking UN resolutions, which last time I checked were mandated by the world community. Rogue nations have to be kept in check, and if noone else has the balls or the resources I suppose it will continue to be the United States as the primary enforcer. Which really sucks for everyone in the US, because the billions spent policing conflicts and shitholes all over the globe could be better spent here.

Ok, my opinion:

Nuking NK is killing an extra 100K+ innocent koreans.

And yeah, im Korean.

I hope that peace comes to Korea :/

Also to whoever said to snipe Kim, that would not work because he has already appointed his successor which is also his son and there is a 99.9% chance that he has the same ideals as his father. Also if Kim was assassinated, then everyone would point the finger at the US because what other country really has the motivation and capability to pull off something like that? Then we might lose China (which has been on the side of NK for a while, ie Korean war...) and we have just got them looking more towards our side of things and if that happens and NK decides to launch a nuke at SK or Japan, we are put in a bad position. For now the best solution is trying to negotiate with them, if they do launch something and SK the only solution is Nuclear warfare because NK has about 1 million troops and the US only has about 30k left in SK, so by sheer numbers alone, we would be defeated if we tried to hold them off by infantry/strategic attacks. I doubt they will launch any nuclear missile attacks because china is reprimanding them now as it is, and they know that they would be screwed with no allies and all the major powers of the world breathing down their necks...
That's my input, sorry for the long post.

Now where should I start...hmm
1. Thats Genocide
2. That hurts other nations
3. The U.N. would be FURIOUS!
4. Thats would cause the U.S. to loose the few allies they have
5. This can cause WW3...
6. North and South Korea are trying to create PEACE

Notice how the thread starter never returned. This is truely shameful to say. I am absolutely discontented with all this hate for North Korea! I am Chinese, and "should we nuke them" was just out of line and uncalled for. Good evening MPGH, going to sleep.
