Question about TEXTURES.REZ

Whenever i remove the file from the combat arms folder and go into a game, it crashes within seconds. I am running Windows Vista. Can anyone help me?

Don't delete the files, only delete the character rez files and replace them with 0 byte shortcuts to avoid detecting.

Re-install if you've lost the files completley.

yeah but those arent the files im talking about im talking about TEXTURES.REZ that whenever you remove it all the walls turn white

i havent lost the files its just that i have legify's hack and he says to remove the textures file and whenever i go into a game like that it crashes.

it most likely the hacks that are crashing the game. And instead of double posting edit your other post with the "Edit" Button at the bottom right of your posts.

Taking the textures out of CA wouldn't cause you to crash.

i think it does now, the game goes through your files and detects if any are missing

Its sumthing else in your folder.

Texture wise, it never has. I always take my textures out for less lag.

Did you do it after Hackshield loaded and before the loading screen for CA apeared?

Did you take out 4? No more, no less?

it really gives you less lag? i am SLOW even with gamebooster

Gamebooster dosn't help.

This does and almost eliminates lag entirely.

he said he been using hacks so that's most likely the cause for CA crashing. Just delete the hacks and your CA wont crash
