what is the difference between a hack and a cheat ??

Cheats are made by the game owner/publisher. They are made for fun, and pre-coded ingame.
Hacks are people/customer made to get an advantage over other players.

For me hack and cheat are the same thing

For me, at least, a cheat is anything that gives you an unfair advantage over others, usually against some set of rules. A hack changes something to work in a way it was not originally intended to. Most things posted here fall under both categories.

In FPS, they are the same .

hacking is getting unauthorized access to an account, cheating is well cheating
