Beginners guide for version 1.29

Hey everyone

Since I (personally) see potential to the game,
I've decided to give the newbies out there a quick introduction to war thunder. This guide will follow a more advanced guide with more details about the higher tier planes and the two other game modes.

First off, you can download the game here
Assuming you are smart enough to navigate through the website to create an account and manage to download and install the game without any errors, I will move on to the next step.
Before I introduce you to the different game modes and planes in the game, I will give you a brief explanation on the interface of the main menu:

In the following screenshot, You can see many different options and buttons but the only thing you need to know in order to play are the buttons on the bottom of the screen with the different country flags on them (marked with the small green dots). These are the different "factions" of the game and they all have different planes that you can later buy and upgrade. But, for the most part, There is no "over powered" nation so it's completely up to you and your own personal reference. Before you select your main nation/the nation you will invest in the most, I recommend you to experience all of the "free" planes that are unlocked by default before selecting (i.e.) the Russians just because you are Russian.

Now, you must complete the first tutorial -even if you have previous knowledge, it is a step you cannot skip. If you successfully completed the first tutorial, you will be finally be able to start your first battle and all you have to do is to press the big "To battle!" button that I marked with a blue rectangle in the image above. Naturally, you will start to play the "Arcade" game mode. Arcade mode is the simplified version of War Thunder where everyone who successfully passed the first tutorial will be able to ace. This game mode will be your friend for your first days in War Thunder, you will be able to master your flying abilities.
Note: Im aware of all the little things I haven't mentioned but many of them are self-explanatory

Once I complete my "research" (as you might call it), I will post a secondary thread which will be all about the different "over powered" planes and other things that the higher-rank players should know but for that, I will need to collect a lot of data so you guys feel free to pm about about your experience with the different planes

All (well most) of the american planes use BOOM-and-ZOOM tactics which means climb to high altitude at beginning of match then either hunt around for bombers for a little while or find a lower altitude target and dive in on him and then fire away but once you pass him just pull and keep climbing, never try to get into a turn fight as these american planes bleed lots of speed when turning and low speed+low altitude=very high chance of dying and then if you didn't kill your target repeat the maneuver also recommend using Air target-ammunition belt or stealth-ammunition belt for arcade, and playing historic mode it's Air target-ammunition all the way or Tracer ammunition belt and don't forget to monitor your speed or you'll be shearing off your wings<- only have to worry about losing parts from going to fast or pulling to many G-forces in historic or full real battle modes.

This tutorial is only meant to make the game "playable" :P But I am going to include lots of other tips and tricks in the next more "advanced" part -such as what you wrote. If you will ever have some free time, You can send me more information like that by PMing me

Anything you believe is useful will do :P If you want something more specific, You can write about the upgrading system for now

My apologies, been very busy lately and just getting back on, and then soon going on vacation soon for about a week, but will get the upgrade list system completed hopefully soon™ (if you know what i mean

Done and sent you can add it or keep it then add a mass tutorial later (open in wordpad as i use Open Office and it's a bit screwy with Windows 8 when converting to a .doc file, if you have Open Office it would be nice to know).

hahaha... never!

... oh s*** just realized my userbar still says Windows 7 instead on Windows 8 user *facepalm* and should probley update a couple of them... it has been a few years since i last updated my sig

oh well might as well post my little tutorial and i shall improve it!... just very primitive ATM

haha, and nice little tut, do they have armor now ?

have to make this short as my pc's primary hard drive decided to crap out, luckly my primary OS is on my secondary HD, but requis the primary HD to boot up...

so don't tick me cause these little bastered of devices have been known to pilot cruser missles+got a custom rom on it, and it can work as a sonar device... figure
