Good video edit program?

Wasup guys, so i just saw the battlefield 4 tv trailer... I didnt like the rihanna song so i want to make a fan made trailer but i dont like the video edit program i am using atm. So i would like some advise for a good editing program. And one i can pirate

Sony Vegas is undeniably and unequivocolly the greatest video editing program I've ever used. And that's saying something as I've been video editing for about 10 years now.
