Lag with Sterling?

Jumped into a GM game and got a few kills before the round ended. Was using my Sterling, and people were complaining about how much lag they were getting because of it. Do certain guns cause lag?

what would you expect? to get a thanks for having a great weapon they don't have? they want you to get off the game 'cuse they feel you have advantage on them 'cuse you use that weapon.

if it was FPS lag for him, he would see a difference. He only came here to ask for answers because QQ's/laggers(Fags for short) were saying his sterling was giving lag to them and he listened such a gay lie. Even if a gun would actually give lag(or fps lag) for some alien reason, it would affect him only, not other players.
