Watch Kenichi, R+V, Desert Punk, D. Gray Man, Angel Beats, Kuroshitsuji, Demon King Daimao, Girls Bravo, Soul Eater, Trigun, Samurai Champloo, Eden of the East, Darker than Black and Chrome Shelled Regios. They are all great anime.

Trigun is a classic.
Darker than Black is actually alright in dub.
Eden of the east was great, don't know about the dub.

Kenichi is alright but doesn't go anywhere, I mean the start is cool and all but he never improves past anyone. Its still ongoing in the manga and he's still at the same power-level as everyone else.
The anime is like 1/10 of the manga, so you'll probably never see any of the good fights.
