I have no idea.
But since your unbanned now, take it to dispute and ask them why.

Considering the random IP bans that Dave told us about, I don't really think he should take it to the staff dispute, unless he knows someone's after him, but as he said, there was no reason for it.

It was probably a member of staff who banned over your feggy usertitle edit.
