I know this isn't the Music section, but it's pretty dead, and I see people posting this shit here all the time, so if you start flaming, prepare to be ignored.


Genre: Trap
Just found this genre a couple days ago, it seems to be a mix of a couple different days, and I haven't stopped listening to it since, for all you who hate dubstep, don't click on links or you'll explode. Anyways, was wondering if anyone had listened to this kind of music before, and if not... I'm posting some links here, so enjoy.

It's not exactly dubstep. It's a sub-genre with the same fastpaced beat, but with rap/hip-hop mixed in.

I was already on some insanely high butthurt levels for today, so that's why.

Sounds like dubstep to me. They just replaced the low frequency fart noises with higher ones.

A revelant thread title would be nice. And I have heard it before but I think it sounds like shit. No offence though, a lot of kids seem to squeem over this stuff so its probably me being used to actual instruments or at least good musical compositipn ala DP.

No offence taken, I knew not a lot of people would like it due it sounding almost identical to dubstep. And trust me, I'm not one of those kids who JUST listen to Dubstep or sub-genres of it. This is the first I've listened to any kind of dubstep for about 3 - 4 months. Usually listening to Rap or Metal.

I like trap, its a cool and more mellow type of dubstep. It's mostly related to more drum and bass but its called trap due to its mix of snares and high to low 808 kicks. Do you listen to Flosstradamus?
