A Problem in the Marketplace That Needs to be Fixed

Could you please consider adding these rules to the marketplace?

Rules
1. Thread limits via each marketplace section
2. An E-book subsection (where all e-books and only e-books are sold)
3. A shop subsection (where all threads and only threads selling multiple items go)
4. Perhaps some sub sections under the subsection of 'WTS' so it can be more streamlined (you do not have to cntrl f through 10 pages to find a specific type of item for sale, say a specific game account selling)

Administration
1. Please get more OMM/Marketplace moderator, as it is there are not many active ones that check threads to make sure they follow conduct, but also the marketplace is a large section and because it uses user to user selling it needs more heavy administration in the area, so open up sign ups and see who tries for it

2. Have the minions for the marketplace a bit stricter, it is a bit laxed and this is causing people to go further out and out pushing their limits, people use very abrasive tactics since there is actual money at stake. People in the marketplace will try to do certain things to get competition banned so monitoring needs to be a bit better.

Imposing limits of threads in the marketplace would mean that people can only make x amount of sales, if they happen to be selling different things over a long period of time, it would be highly inconvenient for them. Sure, you'll cut down on those spammers, but you would also be affecting those honest people that are trying to sell stuff.
2. Well thats sort of what user services is for, or the selling subsection
3. Impossible to manage, we have a Buying, selling, and trading section which we already havea hard time managing(people sell in the buying section, etc)
4. Wont work + there is a search tool for a reason

Also the "honest" sellers as you say do not usually have to sell more than 2 things at one time, and if they do, they can sell more than 1 thing in 1 thread, they will not die.
2. WTS now holds 80% of the guides, and user services is now 95% guides, guides are not a service, they should be a class of their own. Make another section for them, once again, nobody will die.
3. Ofc they have a hard time managing it, there is only like 2 moderators and I doubt the only time they look in a section besides the MM request is when they are bored, get more minions.
4. If there was a better organization system then it would cut down on the spam, why do we need to have everything being sold plopped into one section, if 1-3 are enforced then maybe number 4 will not be needed, but still yet, it would do nothing but good.

The minion needs to look at the threads as well, most of them are bumped under 24 hours way to often.

1. What you are saying(since you didnt clarify you baddie) is that you want to have a strict limit(maximum amount of threads) per account in the marketplace. Since you reworded it and cheated all i can say is that they should have a "cool-down" for threads(like they do with posts, except make it a couple hours or so)
2. Guides can be services, they are instructions provided by the User as a service "Got a Service to offer for money or for something in exchange?" People are offering instructions to get money(service) for something in exchange, and people will Want To Sell guides, or items, so it is only proper for them to go to the Selling section. I agree that most guides dont really belong in the User Services and can/should be moved to the Selling section, but thats debateable
3.The shop section will also get abused, as nobody likes calling a mod to come and edit their thread to incorporate new stuff, and people always find new things to sell, they dont simply have a list of all the things they want to sell when they create a thread(they find new things a day or 2 later).
4. It would actually create a lot of stress to the server already(we already have a lot of stress on the server) and no admin such as dabe or arun will want to do that.

1. You are basically an example of one of the marketplace sellers(no offense, just an example), you dont think of everything and you add stuff, thats the flaws we have as a humans, so forcing a cap would be really unnessecary.
2. Pretty sure we already have a guide sections in other places, just not for selling.
3. A proposal to end this would be to have a special mods assigned to like 20people and evey month or so, take the users who post a lot of stuff, and compile it into 1 giant thread, without having to create a new subforum. This can essentially be done by anybody, but they should have like a special tag or w/e.
4. By stress as in the server host(like the domain host/website), we've already had issues, creating a number system/hotkeys would inevitably slow down MPGH for everybody as a whole

Kinda glad this came to attention. Thanks @dj46563 for making it a general issue about the marketplace and not GSAT. I actually talk to the man, quite nice may I say, and all he has is a lot to sell. When you have an abundance, you want to move it as quick as possible. But you do bring up a lot of valid points.

1. Marketplace should be split due to what services are being provided. Categories you may say.
2. Limit to threads. i.e Combining what would be 3 threads to 1 based on similar material.
3. Clarification on bumping rules. Like OP can only bump the thread 24 hours. Everything else must be vouch/experiences

Ya didn't really mean to word 2. like that. I guess more-so like a shop. Like when you go out to find an iso of a game. People will have a shop where you can showcase everything you have. I guess the main issue with that is not being able to edit your thread.

Only main thing I say that would be beneficial are categories. That way you can quickly view e-books/accounts/services/etc but the flaw with that could easily be dead sections.

Yea i agree that if we were just able to edit our original threads without having a mod come and edit it , it would be a lot easier.

We don't need big changes. But editing would definitely help the sellers. Minions will just have to check threads more often.
