Members cannot request close, approval, delete, ban, infract, etc. If you have a problem with a post, then use the report button and report the post/thread that needs attention.
Thread starters can request close/approval. You requested it as a member of the thread, NOT the threadstarter of the thread. HuxSlave was the threadstarter, therefore he is allowed to request close.
If you're a member and you report the post (using the report button) and say "the hack is detected, close the thread", then that's perfectly fine. Remember you need to have a valid reason for us to close it. We aren't going to close it for no particular reason.
