Seeing as you seem to be doing some music work, and I've not done some in quite a while.
Could you recommend any VST's for kicks and bass/base, especially if it means that I don't have to recreate a 808kick myself, because that is tedious and boring.

Believe it or not most famous producers use the vengeance packs...
You can even use the same samples that they used in their songs and most of the samples in their songs are raw O.o
