put water and dry ice in your standard bottle, seal it. (could add something in there for extra lethality)
dry ice will turn to gas, expanding with limited space until boom it explodes, very loud and quite effective.

not really, pretty dangerous because premature explosions are common... can be avoided by paying attention to ambient temperature and filling the bottle with correct proportions.

They're actually more powerful as the gas builds up slower. Dry-Ice bombs create gas more rapidly, expanding the bottle more quickly, and ultimately rupturing earlier due to the speed. Vinegar+Baking Soda Bombs can achieve higher pressure levels from a steady gas release.

You can also put propane in a bottle for a similar effect but you would probably have to work with propane and have machines like my father to get it in as a liquid also its probably just a tad bit more dangerous, but why don't you try to focus on getting through middle school without injuring yourself with stupid shit.
