It's pretty common for programs to come with a DLL because a lot of programs people make have code that relies on another piece of code, or contains resources that have already been created by someone else, so instead of writing it again, they simply tell THEIR program to call on the DLL, you might have experienced this some time if you tried to run a program and it told you "XXXXX.dll or XXXXX.ocx" not found, so it couldn't be run until you placed that file either in your system directory or directly next to said program.
Would be the first injector I've seen with dependencies on an outside code, but if it works without the DLL then it was obviously there for another purpose.
OR it could be a dependency that already exists in your operating system, since a lot of the common DLL's and OCX files are in your system folder already.
