If you have studied media arts and advertising, you would know that a logo is supposed to be simplistic, not complicated. As for this logo, simplistic is just an excuse, they just got lazy, it barely qualifies as an abstract because it almost represents a box.

As a company logo it reflects little of what the company actually does.
