U can use this as a base for feather changes you need.
Make your own hook too and show off your hook to your friends ; )
And about when, how to inject dll, as far as i can tell any time(I usually do it at game
startup or in game main menu). you can use any dll injector you want.
Please keep in mind use it on your own risk.

Both methods require following to the compiler ( header and library).
$(DXSDK_DIR)include;$(IncludePath)
$(DXSDK_DIR)lib\x86;$(LibraryPath)
