the information posted was FALSE!!!

read nexon's TOS, it says (as i paraphrase cuz its faster and i don't feel like finding it again) they still own the rez files, they are just on loan to you. They can VERY easily check the rez files with simple code of a CRC32 or MD5 check. its 100% legal.

Would they actually ban people over a texture edit?

Does it mean that now changing the rez is dangerous like injecting a dll ?

Doesn't matter if they don't act on it.

they have been lately. they have been banning for just textures. i did 1 texture mod to a l96a1, and was banned 3 days later. brand new account, no hacks/mods except 1 texture

That's why my main was banned? I thought that's what happened -_-.

They should ban ppl that use .rez to take advantage in game instead, that color a weapon doesn't give.

Im just saying in general Nexon has decided to start doing there jobs, they are scanning memory, asm, and Now im guessing they added a check in for this.

Nexon's pretty fucking stupid.

This is basically how they stopped all the other rez mods as well, I believe. Not sure, but it seems like the simplest way and logical way to stop it. Check the files.

Anyway, if they're checking all of the files now then instead of allowing them and then logging it and THEN banning them why don't they just stop the game form loading, log it and then ban you

Just guessing on this idea, but it seems probable that that's what they're doing.

the reason they are banning for it now is because some players aren't playing with just some awesome artwork on the gun BUT are actually doing something like minichams. Color the guns in a solid color so it can be seen better.

Played for an entire week with a fuckton of mods, didn't get banned at all. About 20 textures, and 2 models.

Pff loan my ass. Its on my computer and it always will be unless I remove it..

its still their files, doesn't matter. on top of that, they'd have to stop all texture modding because you can mini cham anything to make it easier
