Wtf Nexus Battle

How do I get 0 on a completely solo'd nexus battle.

drop rates random, but yeah I feel the disappointment of soloing a hard dungeon and getting nothing.

I guess the drop rates were really high when the patch came out. I think that hotfix they did patched the drop rates to the point where it's almost non existent...

This happens with most releases, and one of the devs from their last team explained they do this on purpose to get plenty of items into the market to begin with so people didn't sell them for vast fortunes of duped items. They'd then get support tickets from people complaining they paid too much for an item, so they just began mass releasing new items for a few hours. At least thats the explanation I remember, could have totally made it up.

Granted, that was back when you could actually trade items in this game - so the reasoning behind it no longer applies, but they've probably kept the practice around because thinking about why they do things is too difficult.

Completely solo-ed could be the problem - there may be checks for how many people ran it and did SB damage.

I ran 8 of them early this morning with 6 characters (multiboxing). 0 drops. That pretty much tells you the drop rates are beyond shitty. It wouldn't be so bad if pots dropped or something to make the time/fame spent not a complete loss.

Nothing comes in life for free, if you want new and annoying UT's you need to grind your way for them.

But you probably already knew.

I was able to get the bow after 30ish runs. Yeah, it's a hard slap on your face when you get completely nothing especially after soloing all bosses. And yes, nilly is right. The patch was to lower the drop rates since people went on shouting to get 2 whites at most on every other run. And considering that the keys are purchasable with fame, they just had to nerf the drop rates, otherwise people would've started hoarding those items waiting for the next unsb and selling them at ridiculously high prices.

I got 2 bows and a wand when it first came out, then I just got constant 0's and gave up.

I got Wand and KoalaP AFTER the hotfix. Maybe i am lucky?

I wouldn't have a problem with this except for the fact that people fortunate enough to have played the battle for nexus right when it came out got many ut's very quickly. Those of us who were unable to play during that 2 hour'ish window must grind long hours to get any anything at all...
