How to change the main menu
If you're like me and you don't watch the games, youtube or patch release info and etc, then I will show you how to change it to something that you prefer 
For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, this is the main menu:
Now to change it you go to your install path, default is C:/Riot Games. You want to get to:
(X: /Riot Games/League of Legends/RADS/projects/ lol_air_client_config_na/releases/0.0.0.45/deploy/ lol.properties
Now open up lol.properties with notepad and you should see something like this:
Next, you want to change the link beside "LobbyLandingURL=" to the website of your choice. I personally chose LoL Esports | Season 3 because it matches well with the client, and I like to stay updated about things like the World Championships.
Once you change it the properties file should look like this:
Then save it, and restart your client.
Your new main menu should look better and include stuff that you're actually interested in.
