On a budget
Hey guys,

I may have a cheap budget($600) but i want to get the most out of a new pc. All my requirements are is that it needs to have a great cooling system and a nice way of running fps. I'm not really a computer kinda guy, i just change the RAM for my friends sometimes. I can go a bit higher but prefer not to so that i may buy better gaming equipment.

I currently have a laptop from 2005 which i can't argue with because it runs CS:GO pretty decently, but i got a new monitor and it doesnt run well fps wise on the big screen of my new benQ monitor.
What kind of games are you looking to play? for $600 you can get a pretty good PC but don't be expecting to play BF4 at Ultra with over 60 FPS.

On a side note, looks like it's time for me to make a new thread

Get this, essentially (change some things depending on current sales) but swap out the 212 EVO for the older 212 PLUS. Same shit, lower cost.

yea case was on sale
Case: NZXT Tempest 410
Mobo: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
CPU: AMD FX-6300
GPU: AMD Radeon 7850 2GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB @1600MHz
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB @7200RPM
PSU: Corsair CX600

This is a personal secondary build I put together, and it's absolutely incredible for the price. I paid about $625 for it, but it can be had for about $570 on today's market. You'll be able to max every modern game and get at least 60 FPS, even in Crysis:

I have the exact same problem. No matter how I wire it, only one of the front fans works.

let me know how you get the front fan working. I got the back one working
$600 is a lowish budget for a gaming PC. If you want a good PC for gaming you will need to pitch in a bit more.
