Fucking atrocious CPU, PSU, and Mobo for the price range.

Here's what to do:
Switch that CPU for an FX-6300.
Drop the CPU cooler, it's unneeded for your budget.
Never get a Micro-ATX Mobo for a Mid-Tower. Go for an ATX and better quality, maybe an Asus M5A97 LE.
Bump your PSU up to at least 500W, preferably 600. A CX600 will do well.
Drop the OS and just torrent it, it'll save you a ton of money.

My secondary rig is about 30-40% faster than your current mockup and only put me out about $575.

HELLLLLLLLL NO,don't EVER torrent the OS ! its what people do without money and and respect to someone that worked hard for their hard work-and i think you don't get the updates ...JUST DON'T ,Microsoft makes money from the OS and its the same concept as "Torrenting" A graphics card-you cannot do that-but if you manage to,you are a criminal that stole 100$ that Microsoft would have made of you.
Same goes for games, there are tons of great free games you can give credit to the makers of them-look what torrenting has done to kingdoms of amalur..
Ah and for the PSU ,this one is just fine, way pay more for nothing? you wont crossfire the 7850 anyways since the card will be so outdated that you are better of with a different one
thank you

The PSU is not good, after a while it will lose power, eventually the PC will just keep crashing because it doesn't have enough power. Please, do not fool people. Never go low on the PSU, ever.

I'm trying to stay within the price-range of $500-$600, and getting a better GPU will probably make it over budget.

Don't even listen to him, kid doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.
A 7850 can Max BF3 at 60 FPS.

Oh shit. And thanks again for helping me out, I'll start implementing the changes.

I have a torrented version of Windows 7 ultimate, I'd recommend to torrent it as well but if he doesn't know how to then I'd have to agree with him.

My 7790 does about 30-45 on ultra on bf4 so this is true. ^^
I'd change the RAM, case and perhaps PSU...

You don't need to have a high spec ram, I reckon a 'budget' one. yet of a good quality will suffice.

Also, I did a quick search on the case and if i looked at the right one, there was little to no cable management - I would suggest changing that too.

I'm not sure specifically but personally I'd pick a 500w PSU and not a 400.

No need for CPU cooler (or thermal compound) UNLESS you plan to OC.

If you are up for the effort then pirate the OS, it will save quite a lot of moniezzzz

@Aborted with all of the discounts my build came out to $545.18 Would switching the stuff out for yours up the performance by a large amount?

Yes, because your current CPU is pretty weak in comparison to both the build, and the budget you've put out. Upgrading it would increase your processing speed AND your graphics as a 7850 would most likely be bottlenecked by any Athlon series.

Alright, thanks for the advice!
