No Vac + Family Sharing

According to Family Sharing FAQ, if the borrower account gets Vac banned, lender account also gets Vac banned.

So i was wondering, considering there isnt Vac in Ghosts and if you share your game with another account and hack on it, it makes sense that hack accounts udid, guid, id whatever should be banned only and the original acccount with the game should be safe right?

Or when you share, do the game on that account sends the original accounts id to IW servers so if you get banned manually by IW, do original account get banned too?

I would really want to know this to :P

I'm pretty sure you'd get banned on main, too.

(As you share same main account).
But I'm not sure as IW hasn't started banning in Ghosts yet.

Well you dont actually share the same account, you share the same game with a different account. So its that accounts guid unless steam sends the original accounts guid to IW servers

I meant that Steam knows where game is actually "registered"(activated/bought, w/e) so that account will get banned as well if you get banned.
We still don't know how will their AC work(if they will use it on PC), so I we don't know how it's going to work.

I guess you will be able to bypass bans if they are going to use LAC(I don't think so), just like you could have done in BO2(if you got TAC banned).

My friend has successfully bypassed Treyarch ban in Black Ops 2 by sharing his game. So, it would work here too, I think.

If thats true there is no reason for it not to work here, though i cant risk it with my digital hardened edition on my in good standing steam account with over 120 games.

yeah i was thinking and come up with this idea. Would be free risk free hacking until steam fixes it.

Well I hate to tell you Vac is now in ghost, if it is not active that is another thing but be aware they have integrated it into the code.

I have not dumped the file to see if it is active of just reminenents of a copy paste

You are simply perpetuating a myth at this point. If you have some valid code to post to support this then do it.

It says they would get banned only if they're VAC banned on their main account.

However if your main account is banned manually, your second account should work just fine.

Found this the other day just out of curiosity to try and find out what Activision are up to:

I asked Activision support on Twitter about how they were going to do the cheat protection for Ghosts, I was told that we would be "very surprised" and that they have some "new tricks up their sleeves" so it will be interesting to see what they have come up with.

If they are up to something I wonder what it may be. They cannot have no anti-cheat in place at all forever, surely?

We're not talking about VAC in general we're talking about the family sharing plan
