Gaming pc for DayZ

Well im looking to get a new pc for DayZ and dont really know much on PC's so if someone could help me that would be great

What pc would overall preform better?

Yeah dude, buy a 'gaming pc' for a mod for a game that is slowly dying...
OT: Don't buy a pc build one yourself, much cheaper and you get exactly what you want.

That's what everyone says... No offense, but his knowledge seems very small about PC in general.
He would not be able to build a PC. Of course you'll go "it's so simple!", well perhaps for us, but for him? Most likely no.

I built one about 1-2 months after watching videos on how to.

Same here, but I had some base knowledge on the subject. @Havoc if you have an idea on what to do, then I'd definitely recommend building a PC.

Unlike some others, I'll give you some advice (btw another useless post Bat, you keep that post count going up!)
If your going to buy rather than build, go to a dedicated computer shop and get then to build it for you.
I'll only comment on the intel.
The MB runs duel Chanel ram, so it's unlikely 1 stick will work. Also you'll get better performance out of 2 sticks. 2x8 would be better.
The MB has inboard graphics, so your wasting money there if your going to buy a GPU.
I would get a core I7 4770 rather than a 3, PM me if you want more info.

Although I agree with you regarding the ram, on board graphics are never good for gaming, especially with a game like Arma 2. A dedicated graphics card is a must. Furthermore, although more cores are better for games, most games rarely use anything above 4 cores, but Arma 2 is an exception. If your settings are anything below high in fact, it uses ur cpu to take a load off ur GPU. If you have a good GPU, it's recommended you set it on high. But the only difference between an i5 and an i7 is not more cores (unless your talking about a six core i7) it's just hyperthreading, which is useless for gaming, and makes no difference, performance wise. Now if you were attempting to render 3d art with 3ds max, suddenly, hyperthreading is more useful. Henceforth, an i7 is not worth the extra money if all your going to do is game.

The durability of your computer isn't dependant of who builds it, but how you maintain it. If you keep it well cooled, make sure to clean out the dust that manages to get in with compressed air, and do a good job with cable management, your pc will outlast it's usefulness.

Like everyone said, try and build your own PC. but if you don't want, go for the Intel PC.

Yeah go for the Intel Gaming PC.

Then play it safe and go to your local computer store. Don't be afraid to ask questions and find something suitable for the games you play within your budget. It may cut it close but you can replace parts as you go.
