Anyone got a simple way to get xbox live for free? It doesn't seem like the japanese email glitch thingy works anymore, but if so, does anyone know how to do it?

Just pay for it.

I am making a new account to hack on gta 5, and I know I will be banned quickly, I don't wanna spend 5$ on that.

It is a site for that, you're just in the wrong section.
To my knowledge there are no publicly available methods of acquiring XBL for free.
If there were I'd be all over that, not that it matters, my console chomped a CD I just bought so I tore it out of the wall and I'm now in process of getting a new one for free, if not I'll kill Bill Gates.
