Trust me, I've used Vent and Teamspeak many times.
Teamspeak sounds like you're on a phone and you can't change your own volume, so if you're quiet, well, then, too bad you won't be heard.
Vent sounds like youre right next to the person and you can change your volume and that of others.
No complaints with Vent, it's just awesome.
