Progress for new hack

Hello everybody!

Id like to start off by saying that my coding knowledge and hacking knowledge is very little to none but I'm very interested in getting some hacks working i was wondering if anyone wanted to use this thread to share information on their progress and we could possibly work as a community to get some new hacks going!

so far I've been using ollydbg and ollydump to attempt to decompile(disassemble) the rust.exe to gain access to the assembly sharp .dll i was wondering if this is a waste of time or if anyone has made some progress

Wait what, I didn't realise there was the actual Assembly-CShard.dll INSIDE rust.exe ...?

Didn't they just put all the functions from the assembly into rust.exe... not the actual file.... ?

Its protected with Enigma, so get an Enigma decompiler I guess, like Rahams or something similar, I havn't tried these, because I'm not at all familiar with Enigma xD
I guess decode the Enigma out of rust.exe, dump it, then do your normal thing with OllyDbg?

If you find some adresses / ptrs/ offsets I can make the actual hack for you :P
I can code - But not indepth stuff like encryptions, yesterday was first time I heard of Enigma even.

From what I know, there are no .dll 's they have been made into the .exe and then in the enigma encryption file type now

Once you get stuff whatever it may be, 99.9% still coded in C# you can just do the same thing, from what I know, though this process that sounds super simple(maybe) probs take a little time and brain power. !Y TEY MAKE IT SO HARD TO F WIT DER GAME THEY SPEND MUCH TIM & $ ON AND PROBZ LUV LOTZ! I HACKED(not) the rust.exe but not in Ollydbg, I got to the folder and stopped, my knowledge doesn't go into enigma(I am a nooblord 2000). I haven't ever made a hack so haven't had to break through encryption like an enigma file type. :P My coding knowledge goes into making stuff like mods, or stuff where you can get a source code. In this case, we're(lol *they're) more of breaking into the bank and stealing it [(In the best way possible of course) If that is possible] haha, but I am all for it. Others like LiquidSystem who know what they are doing in this area of work have been working on how to get the code from the .dlls which are now in the .exe out so they can just edit it again and make the hacks working again, not sure where they are at, but have seen glimpses of talk about it on other threads. If you are trying to learn how to just code in itself, places like Code Academy are good and free(has pretty good tutorials and other stuffz

) , or just random forums everywhere, though when you get into higher levels the help decreases and you kinda gotta do more testing you could say. Best of luck, to you, this thread, and those who know what they are doing and take the time to share it with us!

You said you got to a folder in rust.exe...? There shouldn't be any type of folder in it... Might I ask what you did?

I got a folder named rust, after I discombobulated it(unpacked/decompiled/disassembled/uncrafted/word which I forgot) it contains: .rsrc(folder) .data .enigma1 .enigma2 .rdata .reloc .text .trace and CERTIFICATE : Within the .rsrc(folder) I have folders named DIALOG GROUP_ICON ICON MANIFEST AND VERSION each has files named certain numbers accept icon, that's just different sizes of the rust icon.

- I may have stated it as I got to a folder in it, but I merely meant that I discombobulated the .exe into a folder so all the contents plopped in

Sorry if I confused you with improper wording and kind of random tangents.

Does anyone by chance have a copy of the managed folder? (Thought I saw one on here somewhere...) If you can get me that, I'll take a look at it. I won't be doing much with this game until I know for a fact that I can edit it.

The old Managed folder...? I have the old Assembly-CSharp.dll that's about it :P

Well, to be Honest, there is an ESP- Source on another Hacking forum which i wont tell, but ill Release the ESP after some Testing.
