Massive lag again

So moments ago, it seemed AQW was doing the thing where people d/c frequently, the page wouldn't load or the game got stuck somewhere trying to login. Was this possibly another DDoS attack?

The lag is occuring again, at the time of this post

Another? I actually do not recall a first. What I do know is that AQW gets this huge lag spikes after a release and usually dies by Sunday.

I do recall there being another incident similar to this some months ago. This wasn't the typical release lag, I couldn't load the game or the DNS, so it seems like everything on the server aq.com was affected.

When someone made a thread about the first massive lagspike (which also sent aq.com down), I recall someone saying that it had the characteristics of a DDoS attack

What is DDoS?

Denial of service attack. It's usually when a guy with a RAT (Remote Adminstration Tool) with lots of slaves (infected users with malware) spams data from their computer resulting in the servers to lag or shut down completely.
