A computer build for $400 or less
Hello fellow MPGH members,
So I've had my Dell Inspiron 530S for about 7-8 years now and I think it's time for a change. I can't play any great games with Windows Vista or 1GB of RAM nor can I do anything without it freezing or lagging. So If anyone can use ************ (pc-part-picker)that'd be great. I'm going with a $400 price point or less because as a high school student I don't have much to offer so give it your best shot if you can. I'm willing to budge a bit from $400 and probably go $10-$20 higher but nothing more please. Thank You for all the help!

Edit: Build will be mostly used for gaming/homework. Must be able to stand games such as WoW or LoL on low-medium settings. Sometimes high. NO LIQUID COOLINGI'm afraid I might fry my whole setup

Lol don't worry the LC will prolly take up a quarter of your build.
Sorry but for $400 you can only get maybe 2 or 3 peices not to mention if you want an okay graphics card that will cost you about $100 Min.

Haha, I'm mostly afraid of it exploding/spilling all over the place.
If you want a computer that can run all the new games at decent graphics your budget would have to be aroun 800-1300. IMO

if you want cheap go with amd. You should be able to get a decent build for 800. These days you need to build your own pc from scratch to get your moneys worth.

you can pirate it...yarr ,but i prefer not doing it.look on ebay maybe you will get a cheaper win7,and i heard the CPU in this build isnt so amazing and since i cant handle AMD CPUS aborted will help you
i'd probably suggest a 6670/7770, elite source 210 (or equivilient) as a starter
Go on pc part picker and add /p/2hDU8 onto the end of the URL
Thats what I have, bf4 on ultra > 30fps, never lower. Not $400 but take away windows, get it for cheaper on ebay, different psu (cheaper one, not recommended but if you need to), and the network adapter.
Good luck!
now if u had about 700$ i know a cyber power pc that is worth every penny, win 7, 8 gb of ram, 3.80 gthz amd process, good graphic card.
