How To Use Lua Scripts in Garrys Mod
For some reason a lot of people dont know how to do this yet fuck
so
HERES HOW TO USE LUA HACKS IN GMOD
Step 1: download the lua hack of your choice, and put the file in the steam/steamapps/common/garrysmod/garrysmod/lua folder
Step 2: download a .dll injector of your choice. Do not use winject. (use another injector like perx or extreme)

Step 3: download the gmod pickles bypass (made by wuat) or the AlexanderHack bypass (by niller303)
Step 4: Start gmod
Step 5: Set the process to inject to as "hl2.exe"
Step 6: set the .dll file to inject to "gmodpickles.dll" (or "Alexader.dll" if you downloaded the AlexanderHack bypass)
Step 7: Press inject

Step 8: join a server (doesn't matter what server)
Step 9: Open console by pressing the tilde (~) key.
Step 10: In the console, type in "sv_allowcslua 1"
Step 11: Now, type in "lua_openscript_cl [YOURFILENAMEHERE].lua"
(OPTIONAL)Step 12: Some servers check clients periodically to see if they have sv_allowcslua set to 1 clientside, so type "sv_allowcslua 0" in the console.

The hack should now be loaded, if it is not, make sure the hack is up to date.
If the hack is up to date, and it STILL does not work
Check your diaper for shit, because you just read a step by step explanation of how to load a hack in gmod
and you still fucking failed.
Next, try taking a literacy test
and last, run through the steps one more time.

Woops! almost forgot. If you still fuck up even after trying again, you're probably stupid.

Thanks. Happy Hacking.

- Toast
I keep getting "Can't change replicated ConVar sv_allowcslua from console of client, only server operator can change its value
T" on every server I try this on so I don't think it works anymore. Have a bypasser and I injected it correctly. Put the commands in correctly as well. Nothing works.
Wow no one needs this, if someone needs help he should read the stickies.

You obviously need this since you're using lua.

If you're using AlexanderHack to bypass then the command is ah_allowcslua rather than sv_allowcslua, it helps to bypass some ACs, as they aren't checking for ah_allowcslua or if you're using timescale to speedhack, ah_timescale. It's a neat feature and the reason why I choose AlexanderHack over Pickles.

Even though it is using ah_allowcslua rather than sv_allowcslua, some ACs will still detect you for running a foreign LUA file, so if you want to bypass those delete/move test.lua and rename your script to test.lua since those ACs are ignoring test.lua

Just a tip, I got banned a few times before I discovered it.

Yeah, but the server will be able to steal your script.

I use a public script - I say go right ahead
Just wondering, why shouldn't we use winject?

Code:
[AlexanderHack] Initializing...
[AlexanderHack] Bypassed convars
[AlexanderHack] Fully Loaded, remember to make suggestions about what i should add next!
] lua_openscript_cl murder_buddy.lua
Running script murder_buddy.lua...
Couldn't include file 'murder_buddy.lua' (File not found) (<nowhere>)
Yes its in garrysmod/garrysmod/lua and yes i checked my diaper and no i don't know what to do.

Did you bother to type AH_allowcslua 1 into console?

Nice tutorial, but your formatting could be better

This might be a bit confusing to new people though, introducing the use of injectors and bypasses. Overall good job!
