[Help] Whitebag Client

In short:

If I already ran the client, what is the proper way to get rid anything potentially harmful?

Delete it entirely, Change your realm password, Go into your hosts file and change it back to default
Make sure its not running in Task Manager.
Type whitebag in your search bar under start menu
If nothing pops up and you did everything else your good to go!

WB client edited your hosts file to block most of RWT sites (except WB oc). It also looked in your muledump or something, can't remember.

It looked for your account.js file which had all your account info, so therefore, they would have complete control of all your accounts.

Edit: Whoa, should make this clear - "monetizing" does NOT mean "selling." Whether people like it or not, MPGH has monetized their (and by "their" I mean "your") content so I don't want any of that "OMG CEHRENR IS MAKING MONEY OFF CLIENTS HES EVIL" bullshit. MPGH makes money off clients, just because you don't see a dime of it just means you're a sucker. Don't tell me I'm a bad person because I'm not a sucker - thanks brahs. [this isn't specified at nilly, just the general shit that spews forth from the client-for-sale topic]. If anyone has something marketable for this game to contribute and would like to make $ off of it, hit me up.

Well you done well taking other peoples work and monetizing it in an indirect way. I don't like it personally, and I hate the fact that you have the #1 client out there even though you've done nothing really original in it. I've still haven't found a way to reconciled these feelings yet. I'll go back to thinking about other things now.

Why do you feel its OK for MPGH to monetize it, but not me? I mean really, there is no difference.

I've done more original work in my client than MPGH, as an organization, has done on the ones posted here. Less people have gotten hacked from my site than MPGH too. So again - why is it OK for MPGH to make $ off RotMG clients but not me? That is entirely illogical.

I've also, on multiple occasions, offered to help monetize people's work for them. Including yourself. If you turn me down, and its public domain, I'm not going to shoot myself in the nutsack and let someone else make money off it instead of me. Sorry, that's silly.

Edit: On the "originality" note - MPGH made plenty of money off my idea (and base code) for an in-game mod selector. So you can hate this place too, please/thanks. Also, part of the originality in the WB client comes from the ease of use/updating that solves a lot of MPGH's problems. Which is also why its so damn popular. No fussing with approvals (which don't work) / registration / installing RR. Never mind the recent problem of corrupt DL files from this site that have been really, really bad.
